This Photographer Captures The Satisfying Beauty Behind Drops Of Liquid
Coffee lovers know there's nothing in life as satisfying as watching that last drop pour into your coffee mug. Photographer Corrie White knows exactly how magical it can be to watch a drop of liquid falling, and it's become the subject of her photography, "Liquid Drop Art."
White first adds colored dyes to the liquid and drops them into water. Sometimes the textures are varied by using glycerin, milk, or even gelatin to thicken the drop. When the drop hits the water, bounces back up and drops again, she snaps a high-speed photograph. Such a simple act yields some pretty amazing results. Take a look:
