At first glance, these photos wouldn't seem too out of the ordinary, but upon closer inspection, you'll definitely find something surprising. This photo series, created by Toronto-based photographer (Thomas Dagg) and simply titled Star Wars, is a throwback to the photographer's youth spent obsessing over the sci-fi franchise, and combines scenes from everyday life with images from the Star Wars universe. 
Achieving this simple-looking aesthetic took a lot more time than you'd think. It took Dagg over two years to capture all his ideas from his Star Wars-obsessed childhood. And while it may have been easier just to Photoshop images into his photographs, he instead opted to use 5" toys from his adolescence and heavily forced perspective to capture the shots--and that's exactly why this Star Wars imagery perfectly meshes with real life. Of course, it's also a nod to his boyhood daydreams of actually using a lightsaber as a baseball bat and whatever else goes on inside a young Padawan's head.
